Our versatile business model allows us to provide cleaning services to large-scale Fortune 500 companies and small to mid-sized businesses and organizations. Horizon Services provides cleaning services for office buildings, municipal agencies, government buildings, educational institutions, laboratories, manufacturing plants, medical facilities, stadiums, event venues, large-scale warehouses, distribution centers, and property management firms.

Horizon Services also provides final cleaning services and progress cleaning labor resources for general contractors. Our post-construction division specializes in construction site cleanup procedures, and all staff members receive construction site OSHA-compliant safety training.

Company History

Horizon Services Company started in 1991 as Horizon Industrial Services, a commercial cleaning contractor operating out of a warehouse located on North Main Street in Manchester, Connecticut. Over the next three decades, Horizon Services grew, and quality cleaning services were in high demand. Rapid company growth led to a new business model and a company-wide reorganization.

In 1994, Horizon Services Corporation (dba Horizon Services Company) was born. Under the leadership of President and CEO Ted Hsu, Horizon Services Company quickly outgrew its warehouse location in Manchester.

In 2000, Horizon moved its corporate headquarters to 250 Governor Street in East Hartford, Connecticut, where Horizon Services Company resides today and continues to operate its successful commercial cleaning business.

In 2024, Horizon Services Company was acquired by the 4M Company of St. Louis, Missouri. The 4M Company founded in 1978 services customers in 27 states throughout the United States.

Horizon Services attributes its rapid growth to its dedication to quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and consistently maintaining a high management-to-staff ratio. Horizon Services' service-oriented business model ensures that our customers receive consistent, high-quality cleaning services. Horizon's remarkable growth in the past decade is a direct reflection of the quality of our cleaning services and the professionalism of our cleaning technicians, managers, and customer service personnel.
