Why a COVID Air program?

The Centers for Disease Control indicates that the primary method of person-to-person transmission of the Coronavirus is through the air.  Sometimes it is through close contact, while other times it is exposure to the virus in small droplets that can stay suspended in the “air for minutes to hours”.

About Your Host

Dr. Jason Farrell Founder/Facilitiesmart

Jason Farrell, Ed.D., holds a terminal degree in education with a research focus investigating elements of built environments that influence user experiences. He provides facility assessment services that include the use of proprietary tools to conduct effectiveness evaluations (Integrated Facility Effectiveness Assessment Instrument [IFEA-I]) and to evaluate the influence of built environments on their users (Influence of Environmental Elements Questionnaire [ICEE-Q]).  Each of these tools have been tailored for use in COVID-19-response settings. He has recently designed and implemented a successful full program for COVID-19 reopening and led multiple teams covering infection control measures, OSHA standards, risk mitigation strategies, and training.
